about us

With COVID-19 came an increase in domestic violence, depression and inevitable financial hardship. We knew we could help and that we could make a significant change, so in the summer of 2020 Phoenix Supported Housing was formed.

As two of the co-founders have lived in supported accommodation, we wanted to use our journey to help others. We truly understand some of the issues when you do not have a place called home, and can speak with experience and empathy when helping others. Looking at our journeys, we identified three pillars to facilitate independency - accommodation, social support and education. Accommodation is the first step, as it provides a safe and stable environment. Social support to ensure wellbeing and mental health is maintained. Education to develop the life skills to live independently and help people find their route towards finding a stable job.
